I recently had a child, and that inspired me to build yet another little Congruence feature: “baby dailies.”

Now, in my schedule, every day I am prompted to add a photo of their face, a video of them doing something, and a short sentence or two of thoughts. Plus extra photos and videos if I want.

Here’s the capture screen:

And then the pretty-unsatisfying-when-censored history screen:

There’s a “slideshow” big element at the top, which lets me swipe between each day’s face photo. Then, below, there’s a section for each day with the photo, video, other attachments, and the text.

I can also use the calendar button to jump to a specific day.

So far: absolutely delightful, and forces me to remember to capture a moment or two each day. Feels like putting tech to good use. I suspect I will be really happy to have this years from now…
