Some history

  • grew up in Massachusetts
  • studied math & computer science at Stanford before dropping out
  • co-founded the Stanford Bitcoin Group in 2013
  • left school to start political media platform Sidewire

    (turned out to be “exactly wrong for this political moment”)

  • co-founded & was founding CEO of CoinList, the market-leading token sale platform

    $10s of billions of transaction volume; ran token sales for Solana, Filecoin, Near, Flow, and more; last valued at $1.5B

  • co-founded and served as CEO of Eco, a cross-chain stablecoin interoperability protocol, and Bend, a global stablecoin-powered version of Venmo

    built digital wallet with tens of millions of dollars in deposits; raised >$95MM
