Some history

  • grew up in Massachusetts
  • studied math & computer science at Stanford
  • co-founded the Stanford Bitcoin Group in 2013
  • left school to start political media platform Sidewire

    (turned out to be “exactly wrong for this political moment”)

  • co-founded & was founding CEO of CoinList, the market-leading token sale platform

    $10s of billions of transaction volume; ran token sales for Solana, Filecoin, Near, Flow, and more; last valued at $1.5B

  • served as CEO of Eco, building a cross-chain stablecoin interoperability protocol and Bend, a global stablecoin-powered version of Venmo

    built digital wallet with tens of millions of dollars in deposits; raised >$95MM

Currently

  • living in Austin, TX
  • Chairman of Eco
  • exploring the home health & environmental toxin space
  • building an ERP/process management tool, focused on offshoring & the rise of virtual assistants (and having a blast coding for the first time in awhile)
  • on the board of FreeWorld, a nonprofit that trains ex-felons to become truck drivers and places them in trucking jobs

    we’ve trained >1,000 “free agents” in the last 3 years and are on track to train 1,000 more just this year

  • doing some advising & consulting
  • reading, thinking, building, and taking a bit of a break from full-time anything
